Event Organizers can:

Attendees can:

  • Browse and search events
  • Purchase tickets and register for events
  • Receive event updates
  • Request refunds according to event policies

4. What You Can't Do

  • Post illegal, harmful, or offensive content
  • Create fake events or mislead attendees
  • Violate intellectual property rights
  • Spam or harass other users
  • Attempt to hack or disrupt our service
  • Resell tickets at inflated prices (unless permitted by event organizer)

5. Payments and Fees

  • We use Stripe Connect to process payments
  • Event organizers set their own ticket prices
  • We charge a platform fee on each transaction
  • Payout timing depends on your Stripe Connect settings
  • You're responsible for any taxes on your earnings
  • Refunds are subject to individual event policies

6. Event Organizer Responsibilities

  • Ensure your event information is accurate
  • Deliver the event as described
  • Handle customer service for your events
  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
  • Set clear refund and cancellation policies
  • Maintain appropriate insurance if required

7. Our Responsibilities and Limitations

We provide:

  • The platform and tools to manage events
  • Payment processing through Stripe
  • Basic customer support
  • Platform security and uptime (though we can't guarantee 100%)

We don't:

  • Guarantee event quality or that events will happen
  • Control event content or verify event organizers
  • Handle disputes between organizers and attendees
  • Provide legal or tax advice

8. Cancellations and Refunds

  • Event organizers set their own refund policies
  • We don't issue refunds on behalf of organizers
  • If we cancel your account for violations, fees are non-refundable
  • Platform fees may apply even if events are cancelled

9. Content and Intellectual Property

  • You own the content you create
  • You give us permission to display and promote your events
  • Don't upload content you don't have rights to use
  • We may remove content that violates these terms

10. Privacy

  • We collect and use data as described in our Privacy Policy
  • Event organizers are responsible for handling attendee data appropriately
  • You consent to data processing necessary for payment and event management

11. Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts for:

  • Violating these terms
  • Illegal activity
  • Too many disputes or chargebacks
  • Providing false information

You can close your account anytime, but:

  • Outstanding payments must be resolved
  • Event obligations must be fulfilled
  • Some data may be retained for legal reasons

12. Disputes and Problems

  • Contact us first to resolve issues
  • Event-specific disputes should be handled between organizers and attendees
  • We may mediate disputes but aren't required to
  • For legal disputes, Ohio, United States law applies

14. Limitation of Liability

  • We're not liable for events that don't happen or don't meet expectations
  • Our liability is limited to the amount you paid in platform fees
